A dramatic night at Protective Stadium saw Birmingham Legion FC and Indy Eleven battle to a 2–2 draw in USL Championship action on April 19.
Birmingham struck first, setting the tone early in front of the home crowd. Indy Eleven responded in the second half behind goals from Edward Kizza and Josh O’Brien, flipping the match and taking a late lead as momentum shifted in their favor.
But Legion refused to let it slip away. In the 89th minute, Sam McIllhatton delivered the equalizer, sending the stadium into a surge of energy and sealing a hard-fought point for the home side.
When the final whistle blew, neither club walked away with all three points — but both left having proven their resilience in a tightly contested, back-and-forth affair.
